There’s a voice that whispers to many of us, sometimes loud, sometimes subtle—but always toxic:
“You’ve messed up too much.”
“You’ll never change.”
“God doesn’t want someone like you.”
These are the lies of the enemy. The voice of shame. The poison of self-condemnation. And far too often, they keep us running from the very One who is calling us to come close.
But here’s the truth:
God is not condemning you—He is inviting you.
He’s not angry with you—He’s reaching for you.
He’s not rejecting you—He’s restoring you.
The heart of the Father is open wide.
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” – Romans 8:1
When Jesus died on the cross, He didn’t just pay for your sins, He also broke the power of every lie that says you aren’t lovable, worthy, or redeemable. The blood of Jesus silences the accuser. It speaks a better word over your life: forgiven, accepted, loved, chosen, and free.
God doesn’t wait for you to be perfect before you come to Him. He says:
“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
This isn’t a call to religion or performance, it’s a call to relationship. A Father is calling His child home.
You don’t have to clean yourself up first. You don’t have to figure everything out. You just have to come with a heart willing to believe that He really does love you, that He hasn’t given up on you, and He never will.
The enemy wants you to stay stuck in fear and shame. But God has given you power, His Spirit, to defeat those lies and walk boldly into His presence.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7
So today, let the walls come down. Let the lies fall silent. Let grace speak louder.
God’s not waiting to punish you, He’s waiting to pour out love, mercy, and restoration. He wants you to know Him not as a distant judge, but as a loving Father who delights in you.
You are wanted. You are welcomed. You are His.
So come home. His arms are open. The cross has made the way.
